Questions and answers

Where do you make home visits?

We make home visits in the Pirkanmaa region. Our workshop is in Kangasala, and visits are agreed in advance.

What devices do you repair?

Computers, laptops, game consoles, tablets, smartphones as well as home electronics and network devices. Each job is assessed case by case – tell us about the device and the fault and we will let you know if we can help.

How much does a repair cost?

The price depends on the device and the fault. We always give you a price estimate before starting. See also our pricing page.

What if the device cannot be repaired?

If a device cannot be repaired at our workshop, you are not charged for the work. Any costs for spare parts already ordered will be discussed and agreed separately.

Can I get the household tax credit?

IT installation, maintenance and guidance carried out in your home may qualify for the Finnish household tax credit. We itemise the labour cost on the invoice. The credit does not apply to workshop repairs or to the cost of devices or parts.

Do you offer remote support?

Remote support is coming soon. Until then, we help with home visits in Pirkanmaa and at our workshop in Kangasala. We also give advice over the phone.

How can I spot a scam posing as technical support?

We never make unsolicited calls or ask you to open a remote connection unless you have contacted us first and agreed on remote support. We never ask for banking credentials or passwords. If anyone asks for these in the name of technical support, hang up.

Is my data safe during a repair?

We only handle the data on your device to the extent the work requires and never pass it on. We recommend a backup before any repair – we can help you make one.

Should I repair my old device or buy a new one?

It depends on the age of the device, the fault and your needs. We give you an honest assessment – if a repair is not worth it, we say so and help you choose a new one.
